Rotor Speed and Position Estimation Analysis of Interior PMSM Machines in Low and Medium-High Speed Regions Adopting an Improved Flux Observer for Electric Vehicle Applications

This paper proposes a nonlinear flux linkage observer for the PMSM speed controls without motion sensors, introducing deviation among real stator and an estimated to suppress feedback integral drift. In position detection of interior sensor, traditional back EMF integration method uses pure integrator, or LPF, estimate flux. Its inherent defects inevitably lead inaccurate estimation, which directly affects estimation motor mover position, resulting in decline control operation distortion phase current. improved integrator with adaptive compensation. The projected value has been derived from rotor permanent magnetic angle algebraic model (m-model) linkage, along synchronous coordinate system. IPMSM coil obtained current voltage models static system is compared form closed-loop drift, using cross-product approach actual yields through PLL. Compared existing motion-sensorless observers, methodology proposed this article simple exhibits better dynamic performance. Extensive comprehensive MATLAB computer simulation experimental findings validate mechanism.
